Abstract

This research proposes an API-based approach for detecting password spraying attacks. The system utilizes an API as an intermediary between the authentication system and the user login interface to collect and analyze authentication data. Advanced machine learning algorithms are employed to detect patterns and anomalies associated with password spraying attacks. The API integrates with existing security infrastructure to enhance detection capabilities. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed system in accurately detecting password spraying attacks, thereby mitigating the risk of unauthorized access and potential data breaches.
