Abstract

Breast cancer is one of the most prevalent cancers affecting women worldwide, with early detection being crucial for improving survival rates. This project aims to develop an efficient, accurate, and automated system for breast cancer detection using advanced machine learning and deep learning techniques. The primary goal is to assist healthcare professionals in identifying potential malignancies in mammograms, thereby reducing diagnostic errors and enhancing early intervention. We utilized a deep convolutional neural network (CNN) trained on a large dataset of mammogram images to distinguish between benign and malignant tumours.
