Abstract

AbstractTalent acquisition is a critical driver of success in competitive industries like financialadvisory. This study explores the recruitment and selection strategies at Bulls and BearsAdvisory, a prominent financial services firm. The company employs a structured,competency-based selection process that aligns with industry standards, ensuring candidatespossess the necessary skills and expertise. However, certain challenges impact the overallefficiency of the hiring process. Extended hiring cycles, communication gaps, and highapplication volumes create bottlenecks that can delay talent acquisition and affect thecandidate experience.By benchmarking Bulls and Bears Advisorys recruitment practices against industry bestpractices, this research highlights key strengths, including its rigorous selection criteria andfocus on competency-based hiring. At the same time, it identifies areas requiringimprovement, such as process optimization and better communication strategies. To enhanceefficiency, the study recommends leveraging technology for applicant tracking, automatinginitial screening, and refining communication channels to ensure a seamless candidateexperience.Ultimately, adopting these improvements can help Bulls and Bears Advisory attract top-tiertalent, reduce hiring timelines, and strengthen its competitive edge in the financial servicessector.
