Leveraging technologies such as machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing, AI accelerates the identification of drug targets, optimizes clinical trials, and enables the repurposing of existing drugs. Recent advancements highlight AI's potential to reduce costs, improve accuracy, and expedite timelines in drug development pipelines. However, the integration of AI faces challenges, including data quality issues, lack of interpretability, and regulatory and ethical concerns.
