Abstract

Abstract The current study delve to evaluate whether instructional capability of teachers have significant moderating effect on the interaction between self-perceptive awareness and leaning attitude of learners. In this study, the researcher selected the 202 Grade 5 and 6 leaners in Banaybanay District, Davao Oriental as the respondents of the study. Stratified random sampling technique was utilized in the selection of the respondents. Non-experimental quantitative research design using descriptive-correlational method was employed. The data collected were subjected on the following statistical tools: Mean, Partial Correlation, and Regression Analysis. Descriptive analysis showed that self-perceptive awareness, learning attitude of learners, and instructional capability of teachers in Banaybanay District, Davao Oriental were described as moderately extensive. Further, correlation analysis demonstrated that there is significant relationship self-perceptive awareness approach and leaning attitude of learners in Banaybanay District in Davao Oriental when moderated by instructional capability of teachers. Evidently, regression analysis proved that instructional capability is a significant moderator on the interaction between self-perceptive awareness and learning attitude of learners in Banaybanay District in Davao Oriental. It is recommended that teachers must engage in self-reflection and seek opportunities for self-improvement in both instructional capability and awareness of studentsself-perceptions and attitudes. The study, therefore, conducted for further utilization of findings through publication in reputable research journal.
